Abstract
This internship report will analyze the financial performance analysis and AML/CFT
regulatory structure of bKash Limited, which is considered the largest Mobile Financial
Service (MFS) in Bangladesh.
In the study, a balance between the financial statement analysis and compliance-based
analysis is a combination used in order to comprehend the way regulatory strengthening
achieves the organizational performance. The analysis will be based on ratio analysis,
horizontal, vertical, trend, DuPont and value-based performance (EVA) models by using
secondary data of audited financial statements (2020-2025), publications of the Bangladesh
Bank, and publicly available disclosures. Moreover, a correlation model is utilized to
determine the connection between the financial performance ratings (revenue and profit) and
a proxy AML/CFT Compliance Indicator, indicating regulatory changes throughout the years.
The results verify that higher compliance practices are accompanying operational stability
and high profitability levels, which substantiate the strategic significance of regulatory
compliance in maintaining the growth level in the digital financial services industry.
