Growth and business perspective of Orion Pharmaceutical Limited and their position in pharma industry

Abstract

Pharmaceutical industries in Bangladesh is a growing sector where domestic companies are manufacturing good quality drugs in order to fulfilling local demands and export worldwide as well. Orion Pharmaceutical Ltd has a strong establishment of manufacturing plants where they are producing world-class medicines and branded generics to serve this nation and has strong foot step in high-end drugs in such a way that might be recognized them as a sophisticated company. They have well-established supply chain model which is fully automated and provide medicines in every corner of our country at the right time by their self owned distribution channel. According to their recent activities, it has been showed that they will invest huge amount of money in this sector in order to establishing great kingdom to the marketplace which will give them a great return in upcoming years. For that purpose, OPL introduces differentiated drugs and medicines for the people by which they will increase their brand value among all other market leaders. From my case study learning, I found that OPL is contributing huge amount of national earning by having good establishment in international market that will make them multinational company if they adopt good polices at the right time by the experience bodies.
