Abstract

E-Government Procurement (e-GP) has emerged as a game-changer in Bangladesh, revolutionizing public procurement practices and contributing to the vision of building a Smart Bangladesh. This report delves into the role of e-GP in enhancing transparency, efficiency, digital transformation, empowering SMEs, and promoting sustainability. It examines the evolution of e-GP in Bangladesh, its key features, and its integration with the Smart Bangladesh initiative. The report evaluates the impact of e-GP implementation through case studies and success stories, highlighting significant improvements in procurement outcomes, cost savings, and increased competition.
