This report will seek information and monitor and illustrate the importance of operations and management systems in Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC), which has its background and its place in the energy industry of Bhutan. The report also deepens its CSR profile, which articulates how it aligns with the company’s mission of being in the business of producing clean energy that benefits Bhutan’s socio-economic development. From this perspective, the organization also presents the company, known as an actual energy provider but also a socially conscious corporation. In addition to presenting the SWOT analysis, this report also reviews the case of the implementation of the SAP system in managing operating practices and the information system of DGPC. It offers a greater understanding of how such systems improve their working, facilitate improved decisions, and ought to relate to the strategic plans of the organization in the furthest. They also make manifest DGPC’s best practices in the generation and management of energy. Each piece of information discussed in this report was gathered from interviews with the staff of DGPC and personal observations, as well as an analysis of the organizational records. This report was developed following guidelines during my three-month internship when practicing with the host organization based on the confidentiality agreement I signed with DGPC.
