| dc.description.abstract | The case of AFBL’s Islamic ECA Loan, which is also the first ECA loan in Bangladesh and its pioneering impact in Bangladesh’s loan market has been discussed comprehensively in this report. Data and parameters used were collected first hand from the company, however authentic data could not be presented due to confidentiality purposes. My internship experience and details is discussed in the report’s first section which includes information regarding my duties and contributions to the company. It also includes the difficulties I faced and my suggestions for the organization and internship candidates. I have also analyzed the organization’s functional departments- HRM, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Accounting- along with their methods and results. Moreover, a SWOT Analysis and Porter’s Five Forces Theory have also been conducted. Recommendations for the departments are also provided. In Chapter 3, the project section, AFBL’s Islamic ECA loan and its effects on pioneering ECA loans in Bangladesh. Data was collected first hand from AFBL. I discussed in details, the global ECA market, the difficulties encountered by corporate businesses, the current situation of the ECA financing, the surge of Islamic ECA financing, AFBL’s ECA loan details and a detailed comparison of the global ECA market and Bangladesh’s ECA market. | en_US |
