This report delves into the recruiting and selection practices at ABC Facilities Ltd., a prominent facilities management company in Bangladesh. I had the opportunity to intern there for three months during my Bachelor of Business Administration program. My internship experience provided me with invaluable insights into the HR industry and allowed me to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions. The report focuses on the crucial role of employee training and development in enhancing employee retention and service quality. ABC Facilities has effectively implemented training programs that have led to a significant reduction in employee turnover. Additionally, the company offers competitive compensation, flexible work arrangements, and career advancement opportunities to further boost employee satisfaction and retention. I analyzed the company's recruiting and selection process, including resume review, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding. They use various methods used to attract potential employees, such as leveraging online job platforms like BDJobs.com. Based on my internship experience and the analysis of ABC Facilities' practices, I offer recommendations to further improve their recruiting and selection process. These recommendations include implementing structured interview formats, utilizing skills assessments, and strengthening their employer branding strategy.en_US
