Financial performance analysis of bKash Limited of last 5 years

Abstract

This report provides a detailed account of my internship at bKash Ltd. bKash is a Mobile Financial Service company which started its journey in 2011. In just a few years, it revolutionized the industry and became a household name. Nowadays, sending money through mobile devices is synonymous with bKash. Being a financial company, bKash was the perfect fit for my research topic ‘Financial Performance Analysis of bKash of Last 5 Years’. My report aims to analyze how bKash performed financially over the last 5 years. Being a startup company, bKash burned massive amounts of cash from its inception. Until very recently, it was operating below breakeven. My report explores how bKash maintained its momentum despite operating at a loss and constantly improved its valuation. This report further delves into the factors behind bKash’s financial success, including current asset management, profitability, liquidity etc. Correlation and regression analysis of those factors gives us a dynamic overview on the impact of these factors on the performance of bKash.
