| dc.description.abstract | This study investigates the non-ionizing radiation (NIR) emissions from household appliances, focusing on magnetic fields, electric fields, and radio frequency (RF) emissions. By analyzing various appliances such as cell phones, televisions, air conditioners, and laptops, the research assesses the safety of these devices according to established NIR emission standards. Utilizing both statistical and graphical analysis, the study highlights significant variations in emission levels, with some appliances exceeding recommended safety thresholds. The findings suggest that while most household devices operate within safe limits, others, particularly laptops and certain kitchen appliances, exhibit elevated RF and electric field emissions that may pose potential health risks. This research underscores the need for continuous monitoring of NIR emissions, the enforcement of stricter safety regulations, and improved consumer education regarding the potential hazards of prolonged exposure. Furthermore, the study explores the feasibility of applying NIR technology in enhancing appliance performance, promoting safer, more sustainable, and technologically advanced home environments. | en_US |
