Resort management system using laravel framework (PHP)

Abstract

The resort business is a financial venture for the owner and a haven for the visi tor’s family. Online resort manage systems can better manage the user’s reservation procedure. Online Resort Management System is developed for providing the re sort booking service to the User without facing any problem. If a customer hasn’t made sufficient plans using the current method, he or she may get to enjoy and rest while traveling to a beach resort to unwind over the weekend. Currently the Resort Company’s reservation process is manually which is a very time-consuming process. Through this study, it was discovered that since the attendants paid greater atten tion to it, a consumer must physically visit the resort in order to be guaranteed a room. Thus, we developed a system where customers can choose their room and book it from anywhere. This system not only deals with a room booking but also deals with the foods and services also. There are two types of user in this system that is Admin and User. Admin can handle User information and also total System. Admin can handle booking details, update status for booked rooms, create staff profile. And customer can book rooms by searching room’s information according to their demand. The objective of this system is to make the Resort Management System easy, reliable, user friendly, and corrective. This system will reduce the re sort reservation tedious job of system paperwork by keeping all the project details of resort reservations are stored in the database in computer’s hard disk. The main objective of this system is to automate the resort reservation process like- creation of a User id, assign the resort’s room according to User’s demand, advance reserva tion, cancellation, and payment and so on. There will be and e-mail notification of staff’s contract expiry to the admin as well as staff member. Customer will receive an e-mail notification of their booking. We have plans to implement other features in future. We could not add all of them just because of the time limitation. At the end of the day, what we can say is we put our honest effort and hard work to implement the system as efficient as possible. We wish to make it flawless in near future.
