Abstract

Integrated Security Services Limited (ISSL) started its journey in 1995 and today is among the leading security service providing companies in the country. In this era of modernization, the aim of forming this security company was to bring qualitative changes to the security service available in this country. The management team has an outstanding performance record and the company has been providing security service to leading companies in the country since its very beginning. In this report the main objective is to discuss the operational excellence of the HR department of ISSL and give a brief outline on ISSL’s background, business process, different departments and how they function. Main focus is given on the HR department and how it carried out its operation. I tried to provide as much information as I could about their responsibilities to give the readers an idea of this department. Employees are one of the most vital and precious elements of an organization and for ISSL it is even more applicable because they are based on providing manpower security services to their clients. So naturally one of the most important departments of the company is HR as it is up to them to select those people who are going to represent their company and uphold the company reputation. They not only select those people but provide them with necessary training, prepare them and look into all the official affairs of that employee during their serving period for that company. Here I have stated what were my responsibility and involvement with the department to share my experience in ISSL. I have also mentioned the challenges that came my way while my period of internship. Moreover, I have provided some suggestions from the information I have gathered from the employees’ perspective that might help the company achieve its goal.
