Financial performance analysis of BIGD

Abstract

As a part of MBA program at BRAC University, I have completed my internship from the BIGD. This internship aims to get some experience in the actual world of work and to set us up for success in the corporate world when we graduate. I selected a topic for this report that is “Financial Performance Analysis of BIGD”. I will make this internship report according to my whole internship periods what I learn from this company and what I learn from my theoretical studies. The study starts with an overview of internships, it’s including information about the duration of internship, workplace duties and responsibilities, problems faced during internship, solutions of the problems, my contribution in the organization and the outcomes of the internships. The second chapter focuses on BIGD's characteristics, goals, management system of the organization. The third chapter covers the topic of the internship at BIGD, providing an overview of the financial ratio analysis of the BIGD’s and its significance, as well as how well the BIGD generates its Liquidity ratio, Solvency Ratio, Profitability Ratio. Finally, I analysis for last 3 years financial data of BIGD, it’s including 2021, 2022 and 2023 year. Overall, this report is based on BIGD’s financial performance analysis. In sum, I learned a lot from my internship at this time. This organization provides a fantastic chance for me to put into practice the academic knowledge I have gained in my classes.
