Design and implementation of an EV charging station: a sustainable solution for BRAC University

Citation

Abstract

Currently, the accessibility and practicality of charging infrastructure are the main barriers to the broad adoption of electric vehicles. In order to solve this problem and aid in the shift to a more environmentally friendly transportation system, this initiative suggests creating a charging station for electric vehicles powered by both renewable and grid energy. The charging station will give EVs a sustainable and clean supply of electricity by utilizing solar panels and electricity from the grid. In order to lessen our dependency on fossil fuels and lessen the environmental effects of using conventional ways of power generation, this project intends to investigate the viability, technical issues, and possible advantages of putting such a charging station into place.
