Abstract

This report provides an overview of my six-month internship experience at Nagorik TV, where I worked as an intern in the broadcast and IT department. The primary goal of my internship was to develop a software application by implementing both waterfall and agile methodologies, ensuring that every stage of the software development life cycle was adhered to. Over the course of this internship, I have worked on the development and testing of several web applications, gaining hands-on experience in using React to design and build the front end of these applications. In general terms, software refers to a collection of instructions or programs that enable a computer to perform specific tasks. It is an integral part of modern technology, streamlining processes and solving various challenges in everyday life. In the context of a business like a TV channel, software plays a crucial role in optimizing existing systems, introducing innovative solutions, and enabling efficient scalability. This report highlights my contributions to software development during the internship, detailing the technical aspects of my work and the challenges I encountered throughout the process. It also reflects on the importance of software in enhancing operations within the broadcasting industry.
