Abstract

In 1978, a few close friends decided to get together, pooled their assets and formed a company, United Enterprises & Co. Ltd. (UECL). They hoped that their unique business perspectives would help build a firm that would last for decades and would one day become a pioneering organization in the country. After about four decades from that day, United Enterprises & Co. Ltd., now more widely known has United Group, has come a long way to becoming one of the most recognized business houses of the nation. This report has been presented based on my observation and experience gathered from the company. The organization has many divisions and departments, but the focus is given more on the HRD in the Gulshan Centre Point 10th floor, employees as I only got the opportunity to work in this division. The report is based on Human Resource Activity of United Group. The purpose of this report is to understand how the Human Resource Activity of United Group is practicing with their employee. After knowing the scenario of United Group in terms of their HR activity a lot of recommendation came up. The report also consists of recommendations and conclusion, according to my point of view, which I think would improve the environment of the organization if implemented.
