Abstract

Vernacular architecture of Bangladesh is the identical, rich building culture that sums up all the stories of life of specific time. It is associated with very native, local, common craftsmanship of the people of the country. Recent time depicts vernacular as backward and underdeveloped being in the contemporary culture of industrialization. Vernacular learning center is a project that not only encourages local building craft but aspire enhancement of the traditional and cultural building domain of Bangladesh through architecture. The project is associated the NGO “SAFE” based in Dinajpur who insight the strength of local materials and building techniques and works to improve the sector. In this project trying to connect neighborhood so that village people are more concern about vernacular architecture. There is a community space designed which is open to all for different social activities
