The impact of late receivables collection on the company’s performance

Abstract

This report illustrates the internship experience at ACI Godrej Agrovet Private Limited under the Finance and Accounts department. The internship was a good experience of financial operations, specifically bank reconciliation. The major tasks were matching of company ledger accounts with bank statements and identifying the discrepancies. The essence of the research is the impact of late receivables collections on the performance of the firms. The results of descriptive statistics and multivariate regression analysis demonstrate that delayed receivables collection has an impact on the firm’s performance. This report is written with the combination of my internship experience and academic knowledge.
