As part of the PGD-KIM program at BIGD and Brac University, I completed an internship at Parkway Packaging & Printing PLC, a diverse and integrated garment accessories manufacturing company. Company’s main goal is to develop operations, employ qualified manpower, establish strong relationships with customer, and find the best methods for manufacturing operations. Throughout the internship, I had the opportunity to explore five major departments: Sales & Marketing, Supply chain, Planning, Production & Quality assurance. Those 5 departments are very crucial for any accessories manufacturing company. During the internship, I spent around 13-14 days in each department to participate in their daily activities and contribute to specific tasks. I collected data through both primary and secondary sources to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the company's performance in each department. These departments directly contribute to generating company revenue through their day-to-day operations. In conclusion, the internship report found that Parkway Packaging & Printing PLC is a well-managed and successful company committed to quality and customer satisfaction. As a garment accessories manufacturing company, their backward linkage enables them to produce high-quality auto carton to ship apparel to top retailers and fashion industry brands worldwide. The company's focus areas, such as developing operations, employing qualified manpower and establishing strong relationships with customers & buyers, contribute to their success. Overall, my internship experience at Parkway Packaging & Printing PLC provided me with valuable insights into the operations of a successful accessories manufacturing company.en_US
