Abstract

This qualitative research aims to explore parents’ perception about the consequences of COVID-19 pandemic on their family and young children, which interviewed 6 pairs of parents from a different social and educational background. All participants were aware of the COVID-19 crisis. They shared that it has affected their financial conditions, mental health as well as overall life. Parents also mentioned that it has consequences on physical health, education and mental health of the young children but do not think there exist any long term effect. However, there were some retrogressive behaviors on children during and after pandemic reported by parents.
