In recent years, the number of street children in Bangladesh has risen dramatically. Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) claims that in 2015, there were 1.5 million street children, and by 2024, that number would rise to 1.56 million. Our country is progressing towards being a developed country. Children have a significant part in developing a country, and children living on the streets are no exception. The continuing concern of destitute children on the streets in extreme poverty has reached such levels that initiatives such as shelters and training have been adopted in various parts of our country. The rehabilitation Centre for street children is one of such institution. In general, the project's major goal is to give the greatest available care and assistance to the children so that they can emerge as fully competent, self-sufficient persons. The project aims to make the children self-sufficient, physically and psychologically sound, and financially secure.en_US
