The growth of the banking industry in Bangladesh along with an overwhelming push towards digitalisation has resulted in a great demand for professionals who are well equipped with the knowledge to ensure the industry functions at a level that matches international standards while continuing its development. Along with that, the existing portion of the population that is completely reliant on traditional banking services poses a unique challenge. Traditional educational programs offered at universities are not equipped to help students fully develop the skills required to face these obstacles. To address this, BRAC Bank envisioned the project, BRAC Bank Training Centre, an institute which offers a fully customised curriculum, designed specifically to train the future workforce of the banking industry. The project intended to encourage collaboration between peers and community interaction, while also providing a space for work getaways, where existing employees can visit with their teams and stay for the duration of a project. As such, the training centre has to provide a nurturing learning environment that provides the amenities and comfort the users may require while staying long-term.en_US
