Satisfaction level regarding 3G services among Bangladehsi youth subscribers

Abstract

The purpose of preparing this report is to give its reader some knowledge regarding the telecommunications sector of Bangladesh, Airtel Bangladesh Limited, Bharti Group, the way the Operational Excellence department of Airtel Bangladesh Operates, a brief idea on the technologies used in the telecommunication sector and most importantly the level of satisfaction among subscribers regarding the 3G services offered by the operators present in Bangladesh. This first part of the report contains detailed analyses of Airtel Bangladesh Limited, Bangladesh Telecommunications Industry and short note on Bharti group. This part covers a few statistics of Airtel Bangladesh Limited, services offered by them, SWOT analysis, history of Bangladesh Telecommunications Industry, growth in the telecommunications sector etc. The Second Part contains a brief introduction of the Operational Excellence department of Airtel Bangladesh Limited and how it operates. The third fragment of this report contains a short note on the technologies used in the telecommunications industry of Bangladesh, their advantages as well as disadvantages and most notably the prospect of 4G in Bangladesh. The fourth and most important part of the report contains a detailed analysis of the level of customer satisfaction related to the 3G services offered by the Telecommunications Operators in Bangladesh which is also the topic of this internship report. The analysis was done with the help of data’s collected via questionnaire. All the responses were obtained with the help of Google forms with a sample size of 78 of whom majority are university students.
