Abstract

This report primarily focusses on the employee selection processes of the Ascent group. The employee selection process efficacy for Ascent Group employees is evident. The report is conducted from the viewpoint of an intern; however, it demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the organizational training and development process. This paper employs a mixed-methods research methodology. Consequently, it encompasses both qualitative and quantitative considerations. Information has been gathered from both primary and secondary sources. The survey method was mostly utilized to get employees' opinions on the training and development process at Ascent Group. The survey results indicate the overall satisfaction, value, efficacy, feedback, and involvement of employees with Ascent's employee selection process. All ten participants expressed various insights that led to multiple recommendations for the enhancement of the company's future recruitment initiatives. While the overall sentiment on the recruitment programs is predominantly positive, specific areas for improvement have been identified. Participants underscored the importance of continuous evaluation of program effectiveness, the implementation of more updated, rigorous and evaluative employee analysis strategies. These observations underscore the necessity of perpetually evaluating and modifying employee selection programs to better effectively meet the evolving needs and preferences of employees and organizational goals.
