| dc.description.abstract | This report explores the trajectory of Blue Planet Group, a leading garment manufacturing company since 2003. It includes the objectives of the garment, textile, RMG, aviation, hospitality and services sectors, SEIP projects, student and BIGD relations, and internships. The report also provides an overview of the company's history, objectives, and awards. Bangladesh's finished garment exports reached US$38.48 billion in December 2024, surpassing the previous record of US$27.4 billion set in 2020. Blue Planet Group (BPG), a diversified business group, focuses on the textile, hospitality, aviation, and construction sectors. With origins in spinning mills, BPG has expanded into the textile, industrial garment manufacturing, aviation, hospitality, and services sectors. The company is committed to sustainability and enjoys a strong reputation both nationally and internationally. BPG's sales team manages garment production, marketing, merchandising, and supply chain management. The industry's cutting department manages fabric procurement, planning, and selection, ensuring the production of various garment components. During the three-month internship, the intern acquires valuable communication, analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills. The objective of this study is to determine whether bonded warehouse space is necessary for the garment industry in Bangladesh and if it is feasible. The garment sector teaches the importance of time management, punctuality, leadership skills, and relationship building. | |
