Operations management in the Information Technology sector of any organization plays a vital role for the organization’s success. Functions like procurement, logistics, inventory management, customer service, distribution etc. are undeniable in an organization’s Information Technology sector. Operations management plays a vital role in IFIC Bank PLC. My time in IFIC Bank PLC was a journey of learning and work experience where I got to implement specific operations management functions such as technical evaluation of vendor management, online inventory management, distribution of office 365 product all over the organization network. I worked on key projects like MS Office 365 implementation in the organization where MS Office 365 ensured security, efficiency. During my time in IFIC Bank PLC, I have observed that the bank practices effective operations management in IT Division, which maximize their resources, cut expenses, and improve the caliber of their services. Better client satisfaction and flawless banking operation follows, which are essential in a highly competitive market.en_US
