Abstract

This report highlights my three month Internship in one of the leading FMCG companies ACI Ltd. Myprime objective was to explore sustainability practices within their product range through business, environment and economic perspective. I looked into ACI’s sustainability benefit towards the environment and business by practicing sustainability practices within the organization. To conduct this research successfully I employed a combination of primary and secondary data including survey and observation. Key findings include how ACI Toiletries made notable progress in sustainability practices within its product portfolio. This report also tells the benefit of sustainability, how sustainable practice in business can lead to minimizing cost, less use of plastic, benefiting the environment and increasing brand image. However, ACI's challenge is to build a strong supply chain that supports sustainability. Also making raw materials distributors to know about sustainability practices is very important because this awareness can create more collective action in production, packing and distribution. ACI Toiletries and its commitment to the environment can improve their market position by focusing more on sustainability strategy. This report focuses on ACI’s current sustainability practices and how it is contributing to the environment, business and economy and how it has a positive impact on the environment. ACI Limited, a major conglomerate in Bangladesh with a global heritage, operates nationwide. The Consumer Brands Division enhances everyday life for consumers with its range of toiletries, home care products, and hygiene solutions. This study investigates the sustainability practices of ACI Limited's toiletries product range, focusing on business, environmental, and economic perspectives. It examines how the company reduces its environmental impact and uses resources more efficiently. The study also considers how these practices support ACI's goals and meet wider sustainability standards. It highlights the economic benefits of these efforts, showing how they contribute to long-term business success and profitability. Overall, the findings illustrate ACI's dedication to sustainability, benefiting both the environment and the company.
