This report focuses on a key issue faced during my internship at Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Ltd. — the delayed delivery of products from suppliers, LSD (Local Sourcing Department), and imports, and its subsequent impact on distribution and sales performance. The delay in receiving articles disrupts the inventory cycle, reduces product availability at retail outlets during peak demand, affects customer satisfaction, and ultimately leads to a loss in sales and competitiveness. This report analyzes the causes behind such delays and presents findings based on field experience, interviews with shop managers, merchandisers, and quality control managers. It concludes with recommendations for improving coordination, enhancing forecast accuracy, and strengthening communication with supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery and optimal sales outcomes.en_US
