Establishment of three star standard hotel on compound of BPC, Mongla, Bagerhat

Abstract

Hotel is the most common commercial infrastructure for accommodation. It is also an essential hub for a sub-urban area like Mongla port. Though, BPC (Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation) already has an existing hotel in Mongla, its facility seems insignificant comparing to the user demand. Therefore, BPC decided to take in a project of three-star standard hotel with extensive facilities for their users. The project is also a revenue generating factor for BPC, so one of the main goals would be to properly utilize the Mongla-riverfront land for commercial benefit. Also, this project needs to accommodate and facilitate the locals and tourists of the area. Thus, this project would contain commercial, business and recreational facilities according to Mongla’s user demand. Finally, as a hotel should have the power to heal its guests, this project should also bring in the natural ambience of Mongla port to its users.
