Abstract
This internship report gives a detailed account of my experience during my internship with the
Legal team at Unilever Bangladesh Limited. It is divided into three parts: an overview of the
internship, an analysis of the organization, and a project completed during the internship.
The first chapter covers the details of my internship, including the objectives, outcomes,
contributions I made, and the challenges and benefits I experienced. It also includes suggestions
for improving future internships at the company based on my observations.
The second chapter provides an in-depth look at Unilever Bangladesh Limited. It describes the
company, its management practices, and its financial performance. The financial analysis is
done using ratio calculations, and I also review the company's position in the market through
industry and competitor analysis.
The third chapter focuses on the project I worked on, which explores Extended Producer
Responsibility (EPR) and its impact on the FMCG industry. It discusses the issues with current
waste management practices and the legal framework in Bangladesh. It also highlights
Unilever’s sustainability efforts, especially their waste management initiatives, and how they
are addressing these challenges.
