This paper addresses an Integrated Tertiary Educational Supply Chain Management Model (ITESCM) to achieve sustainability among the private universities in Malaysia. The application model highlights the role of Supply chain management and sustainable practices in Private Universities (PU). The model provides an overview to equip stakeholders of the educational supply chain with appropriate information to review and appraise the performance of private universities. This is with a view towards the fulfillment of ultimate goals in achieving the potential as providers of educational supply chain services and maintaining sustainability. The paper first provides an overview of recent research conducted in this area, followed by a detailed discussion on research issues that have been developed in ITESCM. It also provides the taxonomy of research and development in the area of integrated SCM and sustainability practices in higher education, particularly in private universities in Malaysia. The concept of integration in tertiary education supply chain and sustainability among the private universities is.

The analysis of Low Carbon Freight Services is relatively recent. However, the topic has become one of the most popular in freight services research literature. A review of 80 Low Carbon Freight Services papers, published in the literature during the period 1995-2015, was undertaken to provide Freight Services researchers with a reference guide to the context, method and focus of previous studies. The outcome of these papers show there is some benefits to employ low carbon freight logistic include Economic benefits, Environmental benefits, Operational benefits and Intangible benefits. The study describes opportunities and contributions in relation to an increase in a competitiveness and flexibility of enterprise and all of participating supply chain segments.

A proposed supply chain management model for teacher education institutions: a structural equation modeling
(© 2017 ExcelingTech Pub, UK., 2017) Paguio, Darwin P.; Habib, Md Mamun; BRAC Business School
The higher education system has been facing major challenges, especially in matching its outcomes to the market (society) needs. These challenges are increasing as the job market becomes more globally competitive. Anchored from the Integrated Tertiary Educational Supply Chain Management (ITESCM) model, this study proposed a Supply Chain Management (SCM) model for Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) in the Philippines. The study utilized cross-sectional, explanatory research design and was participated in by 863 respondents composed of administrators, faculty, students and graduates selected through purposive sampling using partial least square- structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Results from instruction model show that the program establishment is the most significant factor for both instruction development and instruction assessment in producing high level of quality graduates. Results from research model show that the program establishment in research development and TEIs' culture in research assessment are the most significant factor in producing relevant research output. For the extension output, program establishment is the most significant factor in extension development while in extension assessment, faculty capabilities and facilities are the most significant factors in producing service oriented professionals. The model was called Productivity and Advancement of Graduates through a Unified and Innovative Outputs-Instruction, Research and Extension or PAGUIO-INREX Model. This model emphasizes the importance of the trifocal function of higher education to the formation of productive and competent graduates of Teacher Education Institutions, who in turn, can contribute to the progress and development of the country.
