| dc.description.abstract | Internet of Things points to expanding network of physical objects. Here, the data accumulation is done by the usage of sophisticated sensors, which communicates with each other and stores the data in cloud. IoT is transforming the way people communicate, work and live. It has been integrated in our everyday life starting from smart home devices to medical industries. In this paper, we have aimed to provide a review of different types of IoT based health monitoring devices proposed by researchers and how they are monitoring specific diseases. Such devices are categorized based on their types and comparison has been made based on available features. The following paper will focus on different wearable health devices; their operations, limitations and challenges. Moreover, an application on how these devices could be used for emergency situations has also been discussed. It will help future researchers to have an overview on the recent advancements in health care monitoring system. | |
