dc.description.abstract The C was one of the well-built and popular language in the field of computer science. Now this days programmers are move away form C to use in the field of software development. One of the main causes is most of the available C compilers generate machine dependent code. In this thesis we implement compiler that generate Java byte code from subset of C language in addition also generate byte code for MS .NET Common Language Runtime. Java Virtual Machine can execute the generated byte code in any machine/platform. Our implemented compiler can also generate code for MIPS machines. en_US
