Abstract
This report details my working experience at Akij Assets Limited in the HR department of the People & Productivity division, which encompassed critical HR activities and procedures.
I acquired practical experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement during the apprenticeship, which enabled me to contribute to the daily HR operations.
Akij Assets Limited, a significant subsidiary of the Akij Group, is recognized for its innovation and quality in various industries, including real estate and manufacturing. The HR department is essential for the management of the personnel, the enhancement of productivity, and the guarantee of satisfaction. The initiative's primary objective was to evaluate HR procedures through qualitative research methods. The data was gathered through interviews, participation in HR activities, and the examination of internal documents and reports. The objective of the initiative was to pinpoint the HR framework's strengths and areas for improvement. The results of the study suggest that Akij Assets Limited has effective HR procedures that substantially contribute to its success. Recruitment is structured, but it could be more efficient. Performance management requires improved feedback mechanisms, and training programs necessitate more targeted opportunities. Although employee engagement is robust, recognition and reward systems have the potential to be enhanced. Operations can be further optimized through the improved management of data and the increased utilization of HR technologies.
