This internship report is prepared on the basis of the three months period internship program
that I have done in Standard Bank LTD under Business Development Division from
30.05.2018 to 30.07.2018 as a requirement of my BBA program on BRAC Business School,
BRAC University. Standard Bank Ltd. is one of the private bank in Bangladesh. The
principal business of Standard Bank Ltd. is trade financing, corporate banking, private
banking and retail banking.
The objective of the report is to identify how theories and concepts are discussed in my
educational program can be practiced in the aspect of HR and marketing Practices at a private
banking sector in Bangladesh.
The main goal of the internship report is to become mindful of how theories and concepts are
mentioned in my educational program may be practiced within in the aspect of HR and
marketing Practices at a business organization in Bangladesh.
Primary data and secondary data were used to prepare this report. Primary data have come
from my day to day observation and interviewing personnel and on the contrary, secondary
data was collected by Bank’s employee hand book, website, and relevant books. Here I tried
to minimize bias and have tried to prepare an unbiased report.
Finally, the report allows focusing on theories and concepts used in Standard Bank Limited to
relate with academic purpose.
