This report has been prepared with view to express the general picture of real life corporations dealing with their training and development programs for their employees and to discuss it in line with our theoretical study and finding the similarities and differences, also the problems of the process of training and development programs at LBFL. Among the non-banking financial companies of Bangladesh LankaBangla Finance Limited is one of the leading companies in terms of their service line as well as annual turnover. A detail history of LBFL with its various concerns has been comprised in the report along with some discussion of the LankaBangla Finance Limited. LankaBangla Finance Limited has its Head Office at 20, Kemal Ataturk Avenue - Banani, Dhaka. It’s the only office from where all the HR operations are made. I got an opportunity to work in the Human Resource Department of LankaBangla Finance Limited as an intern for three months. My core responsibility was to assist the recruitment and learning team in the HR department for one and a half months and the remaining one and a half months I worked under HR operations to assist them. As a consequence I got the opportunity to pay a close look at the processes. As a part of the internship I am assigned to prepare a report on the overall training and development process of the company. In the second chapter of the report I have included the job responsibilities that I had done during the three months long internship at LBFL. Therefore, to collect information I interviewed some of the employees to get a clear idea about the effectives of the process run by the company. The report as a whole gives a clear idea about the training and development process of the company. Despite having the challenges I finally noted some problems that can be terminated in order to develop the process which are available in the findings section of the report. Later on some recommendations have been included based on the critical findings with some scope of improvements.en_US
