dc.description.abstractBlended learning is a combined learning approach of both online and offline features of learning. Though, in the current Bangladeshi context, online learning has gained popularity, it has some disadvantages too which requires attention in order to be successfully implemented. In order to enable blended learning, the pressing demands of the current world context needs to be taken under serious consideration. The present study discusses the factors that affect blended learning, like poor internet connection, technological and environmental challenges, as well as learners’ choices. The study explores the perceptions of the students regarding blended learning and how it is implemented in the tertiary level education of Bangladesh. Furthermore, the study has been conducted through a qualitative research approach and, has analysed the qualitative data obtained from participants. The data has been collected by the application of a semi-structured method i.e., telephonic interviews of the participants. Moreover, the findings of the study show the factors that affect blended learning and also the perceptions of students towards blended learning approach in the context of tertiary level education of Bangladesh.
