Cloud computing has created an opportunity to gather information from different resources and sending appropriate result to different places after processing those information. Due to this opportunity, the number of IoT devices are increasing geometrically and as a result, cloud servers are facing a huge amount of frequent requests continuously. To overcome this challenge, FOG architecture has been introduced where different edge servers are deployed to work as communication medium between end devices and cloud servers. This paper presents a model where layered FOG architecture is deployed with an advanced caching mechanism to decrease the latency of requests. In the model different layers deals with specific request type. The model focuses on reducing the workload of cloud server and processing IoT devices requests efficiently to ensure effective real time data communication. The experimental setup of the model is deployed using Microsoft Azure and the result has shown significant faster responses than traditional cloud model.6 Pagesen-USCloud computingComputer architectureReal-time systemsServersSynchronizationTask analysisLoad modelingFOG communication modelCaching mechanismReduced latencyInternet of things.Cloud computing.IoT based FOG communication model with advanced task scheduling mechanismConference Proceeding10.1109/ICCIT51783.2020.9392689
