Amino Acids are the building block of protein and its primary structure is a linear chain of amino acids, which lacks functionality. Amino acids interact with each other to produce a three-dimensional structure, known as protein folding. In our proposed approach, we are considering protein as a graph of amino acid interaction network whose vertices are the amino acids and edges are the interaction between them. We proposed a single objective evolutionary algorithm and a recently introduced swarm-based optimization algorithm, named Artificial Bee Colony algorithm to predict the interaction between amino acids and thus solving the protein structure prediction (PSP) problem.52 pagesenBRAC University thesis are protected by copyright.
