For tailored drugs and dosage form different kinds of printing technologies exhibits immense potential to achieve this distinctive requirement of treatment. This provides 3D printing an upper hand over the conventional strategies of drug development. Despite the fact that 3D printed drug item has already been approved yet it faces some difficulties in printing complex structure. These obstacles can be overcome by 4D printing. Its additional dimension opens new possibilities for personalized medicine.
