However, many incidents in the real world gets passed unnoticed of legal attention. In this paper, we attempted to propose a model to detect violation of human rights, present in the incidents reported and stored in the form of news articles. Upon detecting the events of infringement, our model would classify a particular event to its specific type of breach, identify the location where the event has taken place and finally point out the geographical locations in a map for visualization. The system has been built on by using the news article archives of online news websites of The Daily Star, Prothom Alo and Dhaka Tribune.40 pagesenBRAC University theses are protected by copyright.
