Key issues include delays in procurement processes due to lengthy approval timelines and inadequate capacity within local procurement teams. Additionally, fluctuations in market prices and supply chain disruptions have hindered timely acquisition of essential goods and services. Compliance with regulatory frameworks often presents obstacles, as local stakeholders may lack familiarity with procurement guidelines. Furthermore, coordination among various departments has proven difficult, leading to inefficiencies and potential budget overruns. To address these challenges, it is critical to enhance training for procurement personnel, streamline approval processes, and foster better communication between stakeholders. Overall, these measures will be vital in ensuring that procurement activities align effectively with the established procurement plan, ultimately contributing to the successful implementation of the LGED project.91 pagesenBRAC University theses are protected by copyright.
