Research directed with respect to this issue utilizing different methodologies. Swarm robotics is a promising methodology portrayed by vast quantities of generally small and reasonable units. This paper will represent an algorithm that minimizes collisions on highways using the concept of swarm intelligence by considering the vehicles to be individual swarm units. As this algorithm has low calculation complexity, it shows warning sign fast, eventually avoiding a collision. That calculation meets expectations towards demonstrating a warning sign for avoiding dynamic obstacles timely, is ensured by observing the velocity and position of other swarm units. The proposed algorithm works for avoiding bi-directional dynamic obstacles.35 pagesenBRAC University thesis is protected by copyright.
