However, given the broad scope and complexity of the garments manufacturing supply chain, risks are quite prevalent. Without effective management, these risks can result in significant complications and losses. It should be noted that however that not risks are not always negative and can sometimes lead to significant rewards. The company in focus will be Ready-Made Garments manufacturer, Supertex Merchandising Company Limited. I joined the company in 2022 as an intern. Here I am learning the craft of management and my primary focus in this internship is Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM). The report provides an overview of the risk management strategies and the practicum objectives of the study were to assess the risk management practices in the supply chain of Supertex Merchandising Company Limited. The study found that supply chain risk management at Supertex involves risk identification, risk evaluation, risk mitigation and risk monitoring and reporting.
