The New Nation is the country’s first and oldest English newspaper which carries a proud history. The internship offered me the opportunity to work with the seniors who have years of experience in the field of journalism. During my internship I was engaged in the editorial desk where I was instructed to do news monitoring, news selection, caption writing, editing press releases and translating news articles from Bangla to English. Therefore, these tasks overall provided me with the insights of real newsroom experiences.53 pagesenBRAC University theses are protected by copyright.
