Soon after its emergence the virus caused a serious health emergency that compelled the health officials to declare it an epidemic, followed by a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). In spite of some drug’s improving results for treating the symptoms of COVID-19, it has been however recommended that only an effective vaccine can help get rid of this pandemic.
