Hence, stepper motor is different from other motors. Stepper motor is a brushless DC motor that divides its full rotation into a number of equal steps, where position can be commanded to move and hold at each of these steps without any sensor for feedback. Stepper motor is widely used in electrical and mechanical applications where at low speed, positioning accuracy, and high speed dynamic are determining factors. Full drive and half drive modes are general modes of stepper motor.
