However, it is also a hub for social interaction and a variety of cultural events, and it is currently a small and large mall complex located across the city. And the causes of this shift are the increase in urbanization, the high cost of land, and the lack of available space. The technique of creating a commercial space where a bazaar and other functions can mix so that the space can be dynamic all the time is thoroughly explained in the following chapter of this paper. Shantinagar Bazaar is the oldest bazaar in Dhaka city.
