Therefore the logical solution is to use the existing road networks more efficiently. Although people have come up with several techniques such as the use of loop detectors, image processing and transmission of vehicle speeds, they do not tend to be very practical or effective since the data those systems provide can either be very inaccurate or simply do not provide enough information for managing traffic properly in most scenarios.
