Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world. Most common type of cancers are lung cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, thyroid cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, melanoma, bladder cancer etc. Various types of cancer treatment are available like chemotherapeutic drugs, radiation therapy, surgery etc. One of the most used cancer treatments is chemotherapy. But it developed chemotherapy resistance. Particularly in progressive disease, resistance to chemotherapy is frequently observed. Thus, researchers are now focusing on targeted therapies based on the tumor-specific factors. In this research, chemotherapeutic drug is the main focus among the different types of cancer treatment. A detailed analysis is done by compiling all the approved chemotherapeutic drugs by the FDA from 2014 to 2023.
