This final year design project is submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2023.en_US
The main objective of the project is to design and build a transformer monitoring system for the protection of transformer faults. The present monitoring system requires time-consuming human interaction and is difficult to predict when problems may materialize. In this project, we used the Arduino micro controller to build a system for automatically monitoring and protecting the transformer. The system would also provide real-time transformer parameter monitoring. The real-time monitoring of transformer and gas sensor voltage, current, oil levels, and temperature is covered in this article. Effective control measures, which are also addressed, can be used to manage the load voltage in an excessive voltage situation. The values at that moment will be continuously compared by these devices to the values that were previously specified.en_US
