dc.description.abstractA novel biosensor incorporating photonic crystal fiber (PCF) and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) was designed for the early detection of blood cancer cells. Finite element method simulation demonstrated a significant wavelength sensitivity of 10357.143 nm/RIU within the 2000–2400 nm spectral range. These findings suggest the potential of the PCF SPR sensor as a valuable diagnostic tool for blood cancer, offering enhanced sensitivity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency, thereby contributing to improved patient outcomes and early intervention.
